It was a Starbucks kind of morning….

It was a Starbucks kind of morning. A morning when you know your going to need a STRONG cup of coffee just to make it through the day, and even then it’s questionable. It was one of those morning when your woken by some ungodly noise that when you finally register what it was you realize it was just the dog barking or a mom yelling at her kids..and suddenly without choice or forewarning you are wide awake and starting your day. Then on your way down the hall to use the bathroom you’re asked to check the computer downstairs and empty the dishwasher. Oh and before you leave could you let the dogs in? It was the kind of day that doesn’t end when the work day is over because if it wasn’t a crappy enough day it starts to down pour and your car windows are open. Then you’re running late for yet another month-over-due proof session and when you get to the client’s house they aren’t home so you wait and when they finally show up their kids are fighting and one of them starts crying and you leave an hour and a half later but still haven’t gotten a print order. On your way home your mother calls and asks you to stop at a friends house, she’ll meet you there because she’s on her way. By this point is 7:45 and you haven’t eaten dinner but mother says! So you meet her at your friends house and for a half hour your day is good because you get to see your oh so ADORABLE godson…but then its 8:45 and you still haven’t eaten or even been home since this morning. So you say your goodbyes and on your way out the door mom asks if you can take your sister home and since you really don’t have a choice you take your sister home and then finally make something to eat. And of course it was the kind of day when you have dinner at 9:45 at night and then you clean up the kitchen because when you walked in the door, it was an obvious scene that mom left in a hurry. It was the kind of day where you sit down to write a blog post at 11: 18pm because you just finished ordering prints and still have another one to go – along with a few emails to respond to, a few things for your online class and a mock up album to create. It was a Starbucks kind of morning. The kind of morning when you know you’re going to need a STRONG cup of coffee just to make it through the day……
